The square in front of the palace used to be the centre of the Rhine Valley centuries ago. Today, the terrace of the Löwenbar forms part of this square and of the Löwensaal, a large venue in Hohenems which just escaped demolition. These days, it affords numerous guests pleasant times with everything a good bar has to offer.
