The courthouse is one of the few relics dating from the 13th century to have been preserved in its original condition. The Altes Gericht has been known for its award-winning high-end cuisine and legendary wine cellar for more than three decades. The ‘Kastaniengarten’ is the place for romantic dining in the shade of old chestnut trees and the historic vaulted cellar has occasionally been used as a theatre backdrop, which makes this location’s ambience unique.
